Associate a Personi with a Jarvi recruitment project.
Automate CV scoring.
View analysis results and reports.
Invite your candidates to take a soft skills assessment.

1. Connecting Jarvi to Trimoji

Before you start analyzing your applications, you need to activate the connection between the two platforms.

Step 1 - Generate your Jarvi API key

Still within the advanced features:

Go to the API section.
Click on Set up.
Select Generate new keys.
Give your connection a name, for example, "Trimoji".
Confirm the creation.
Copy the private API key that has just been generated.

Important: this key is confidential. Keep it in a secure place and do not share it publicly.

Step 2 - Activate automations in Jarvi

Log in to your Jarvi space.
Go to the platform's Settings.
Open the Advanced Features section.
Find the Automations feature.
Click on Set up, then enable the feature if it's not already active.

Automations will allow Jarvi to trigger actions related to Trimoji.

Step 3 - Finalize the connection with Trimoji

Contact Trimoji support to finalize the activation of your Jarvi integration.

The team will guide you on how to securely transmit the connection information.

Once the connection is configured and validated, the two platforms will be able to work together.

You can contact support via the platform's chat or through our contact page.

2. Configure the display of Trimoji fields and columns in Jarvi

Once the Trimoji x Jarvi integration is activated, the necessary fields for displaying Trimoji results are automatically created in Jarvi.

Therefore, you do not need to create them manually!

You simply need to configure their visibility in two places:

In candidate profiles, to view individual results.
In the application list, to view and compare scores directly as columns.

Step 1 - Display default Trimoji fields on candidate profiles

Log in to your Jarvi account.
Go to the platform's Settings.
In the configuration menu, click on Input fields.
Find the fields automatically created by the Trimoji integration.

Step 2 - Display Trimoji columns in the application list

To view matching results without opening each candidate profile, you also need to configure the columns in your application list.

In Jarvi, go to Recruitment projects.
Open the relevant recruitment project.
Display the candidate list.
Access the column customization options for the table. Click on the Fields button.
Search for the columns corresponding to Trimoji results.
Enable the desired columns, including:
- Trimoji CV Score: match between the CV and the job criteria.
- Trimoji Soft Skills Score: match between personality results and the Personi.
Confirm your display configuration.

Trimoji scores can now be viewed directly in your candidate table, without having to open each profile individually.

Step 3 - Verify display on a candidate profile

Go back to your Jarvi recruitment projects.
Open a candidate's profile.
Check that the Trimoji fields are visible.
If the candidate has already been analyzed, view the available results.

You will be able to find the CV and soft skills matching scores, depending on the analyses performed.

Good to know

Trimoji fields are created automatically during integration. You only need to enable their default display.

If a field is visible but contains no results, verify that the corresponding analysis has been performed for the candidate.

3. Create your ideal profile with Personi

Before automating CV analysis, you need to define the matching criteria for the position you are looking for.

This is the role of Personi, the ideal candidate profile in Trimoji.

Step 1 - Create a Personi

Log in to Trimoji.
Go to the Personi & Matching menu.
Click on Create a Personi.
Select your creation method.

Two methods are available:

With the AI assistant: answer questions to build your ideal profile.
From a job offer: paste the URL of a job posting to automatically generate an initial version of the Personi.

Step 2 - Customize matching criteria

Once your Personi is generated, review the provided information.

You can adjust, among other things:

Desired professional experience.
Required technical skills.
Education and qualifications.
Specific knowledge.
Personality traits.
Weighting of different categories.

Key takeaway: matching criteria contribute to the match score, while filtering criteria narrow down the search based on defined parameters.

Take the time to review the criteria and their importance before starting the CV analysis.

Step 3 - Save the Personi

When your benchmark meets the job requirements, click on Save Personi.

Your ideal profile is now ready to be used in a recruitment campaign.

4. Create a Trimoji campaign for your Jarvi recruitment

To use your Personi in Jarvi, you need to create a Trimoji campaign associated with the position.

Step 1 - Create the campaign

In Trimoji, find the Personi you created earlier.
Open the action menu associated with the Personi.
Click on Create a campaign from this Personi.
Give your campaign a name.
Configure the offered settings.
Confirm the creation.

A tag is automatically created when the campaign is configured.

Step 2 - Associate the Personi in Jarvi

Go back to Jarvi.
Go to the Recruitment projects menu.
Open the relevant job offer.
In the job offer information, find the Trimoji Personi field.
Select the Personi corresponding to your recruitment.
Save your configuration.

Your Personi is now associated with your Jarvi job offer.

New candidates entering the configured process will be automatically analyzed according to the defined criteria.

5. Automate CV scoring in Jarvi

Once your Personi is associated with the recruitment project, Trimoji can automatically analyze candidates entering the configured process.

How does scoring work?

When a candidate enters the recruitment process:

Their CV is sent to Trimoji for analysis.
The information present in the CV is compared against your Personi's criteria.
Trimoji calculates a match score with the position.
The result is directly accessible in Jarvi.

You can thus view your candidates' matching scores from the application list.

How to view the results?

In your Jarvi recruitment project:

Open the candidate list.
Locate the CV scoring column.
View the scores associated with the different profiles.
Use the sorting options to organize your list based on available results.

These scores are indicators to aid analysis. A high score indicates a better match with the defined criteria, but does not guarantee that a candidate will be the most suitable for the position.

6. Understand the score and consult the detailed analysis

An overall score allows for quick comparison of multiple applications, but it is important to understand the elements that contributed to the result.

Accessing matching explanation

From the candidate profile in Jarvi, access the Trimoji analysis elements.

You can view detailed information regarding the match between the CV and the Personi.

The analysis may include:

Identified professional experiences.
Skills and knowledge present in the CV.
Criteria matching the position.
Discrepancies between defined expectations and candidate information.

Download the analysis report

A PDF report also allows you to view the detailed information used in the application analysis.

This document facilitates interview preparation and information sharing with stakeholders involved in the recruitment process.

Best practice: use scores to facilitate application analysis, but always review the detailed information before making a decision. A skill missing from the CV is not necessarily a skill the candidate does not possess.

7. Send a soft skills questionnaire from Jarvi

The Trimoji x Jarvi integration also allows you to trigger personality assessments from the candidate's profile.

This feature helps you complement CV information with an analysis of behavioral skills.

Step 1 - Open the candidate profile

From Jarvi, open the profile of the candidate to be assessed.
Access the profile's action menu.
Select Automations.

Step 2 - Trigger the Trimoji automation

In the list of available automations, find the Trimoji one.
Select the action to send the questionnaire.
Review the offered settings.
Trigger the automation.

Step 3 - The candidate receives their invitation

The candidate receives an email inviting them to complete their Trimoji personality assessment.

The invitation can be presented in your company's branding.

The questionnaire takes approximately 15 minutes and can be completed online.

Step 4 - View the results

Once the assessment is completed, the results enrich the candidate's profile in Jarvi.

You can view the soft skills matching score and access the corresponding analysis reports.

You can also view the onboarding report, the interview guide, a 1-page summary, and the sales DNA.

Depending on the chosen configuration, the candidate may also have access to their own analysis.

Best practices for using Trimoji in Jarvi

Review your Personi before each campaign

Scoring results depend on selected criteria and their weighting. Ensure they align with the actual needs of the position.

Differentiate CV scoring and soft skills

CV scoring assesses the match between the candidate's professional information and the job criteria.

Soft skills assessment provides additional information about their behavioral preferences and professional functioning.

These analyses should not be considered interchangeable.

Use results to prepare interviews

Scores and reports can help you identify topics to explore further with candidates, verify declared skills, and structure your questions.

Maintain human decision-making

Trimoji analyses are recruitment support tools. They do not replace interviews, the review of a candidate's background, or the recruiter's decision.
