The DriveMap, or officially, Drivers in Transactional Analysis, originates from unconscious internal messages, learned very early, from childhood, which push a person to adopt certain behaviors to feel recognized, accepted, or secure.

On the analysis, you will find the primary Driver and the secondary Drivers of the profile. The graph ranks the drivers from the most important to the least used by the profile.

You also have access to the descriptions of the drivers below:

Here are the details:

🟦 Driver BE STRONG

Internal goal: remain self-controlled to avoid depending on others.

The Be strong driver encourages the person to manage their difficulties alone, control their emotions, and not show their vulnerabilities. It values autonomy, resilience, and the ability to withstand pressure.

This driver is valuable in demanding or unstable contexts, but it can also lead to isolation, a low demand for help, and sudden exhaustion when the pressure becomes too great.

🟥 Driver BE PERFECT

Internal goal: avoid mistakes to feel legitimate.

The person driven by Be perfect puts immense pressure on themselves to do well, produce impeccable work, and avoid any mistakes. They seek recognition through quality, precision, and adherence to high standards.

This driver is very useful for ensuring reliability and professional rigor, but can lead to excessive rigidity, difficulty in delegating, and chronic stress when perfection becomes the only way to feel competent.

🟪 Driver BE PLEASING

Internal goal: preserve the relationship to feel accepted.

The Be pleasing driver pushes the person to seek harmony, approval, and the satisfaction of others. They invest heavily in relationships, avoid conflicts, and tend to say yes even when it exceeds their capabilities.

This driver fosters cooperation, team cohesion, and a pleasant work atmosphere, but it also exposes them to overload, hidden frustration, and difficulty in setting clear boundaries.

⬛ Driver WORK HARD

Internal goal: prove one's worth through the intensity of commitment.

With the Work hard driver, the person associates the value of work with the difficulty encountered. The harder it is, the more they feel they are doing well. They invest heavily, start many projects, and put a lot of energy into action.

This driver brings strong involvement and perseverance, but can also lead to dispersion, fatigue, and confusion between effort made and actual effectiveness.

🟧 Driver HURRY UP

Internal goal: act quickly to stay in control.

The Hurry up driver pushes the person to go fast, act quickly, and reduce downtime. They are reactive, efficient in emergencies, and comfortable in dynamic environments.

This driver is an asset in contexts requiring speed and adaptation, but it can generate stress, mistakes, and collective pressure when speed becomes permanent and uncontrolled.
