Step 3 (Optional): Create a campaign for soft skills analysis
Step 4: Link the Personi to your Marvin project
Step 5: Set up kanban automations

Step 1

Connect Trimoji to Marvin

The connection is made once, using the API key from your Trimoji account.

1. Copy your API key in Trimoji

Open your Trimoji account menu, click on "Integrate my ATS", then on "Copy my API key".

Copy API key from Trimoji's Integrate my ATS menu

2. Paste the key in Marvin

In Marvin, go to Settings then Integrations. Search for "Trimoji" and click "Connect". Paste your key into the "Trimoji API Key" field, then validate. Marvin tests the connection before saving the key.

Paste Trimoji API key in Marvin's Connect Trimoji window

Good to know: the "Enable notifications" option alerts the consultant who sent the assessment as soon as the candidate completes it (score and reports).

3. Verify the connection

The Trimoji card will display the "Connected" status. Your Trimoji campaigns can now be synchronized with Marvin.

Step 2

Create your Personi

The Personi is the ideal profile for the position: expected experience, skills, education, and personality. It serves as the benchmark against which each CV will be compared. You can create it in two ways.

Method A: In Trimoji

1. In the "Personi & Matching" menu, click "Create a Personi".

Create a Personi button in Trimoji's Personi and Matching menu

2. Choose your method: the AI assistant, which asks you a few questions, or a job posting link, which is faster.

3. Paste your job posting URL and click "Generate Personi". Keep the "Manually verify Personi configuration" option checked to review the result.

4. Adjust the matching criteria. For each criterion, choose its importance (Ignored, Useful, Important, Essential, Exclusive) and its weight. This part determines the CV score.

5. Set filters if needed (keywords, licenses, languages). These are used to filter profiles from your talent pool.

6. Click "Save Personi". You can also use "Test Personi" before saving.

Method B: From your Marvin Job Posting (Fastest)

In the Trimoji panel of your Marvin project (see step 4), click "Create from Posting". Trimoji reads the job title, descriptions, company, and sector of the project, deduces the expected skills, and creates your Personi. It is immediately linked to the project.

Tip: You can refine this Personi in Trimoji afterward, as in Method A.

Step 3 · Optional

Create a Campaign for Soft Skills Analysis

This step is only useful if you want to send the personality questionnaire to your candidates. For CV scoring only, proceed directly to step 4.

1. In "Personi & Matching", click on your Personi to open its menu, then click "Create a campaign from this Personi".

2. Name your campaign, then follow the prompts. A tag is created automatically.

3. Configure the candidate journey: short (3 min) or full (15 min) questionnaire, CV request, additional questionnaires if needed. Validate.

4. Your campaign is created and automatically synchronized with Marvin.

Step 4

Link the Personi to Your Marvin Project

1. In Marvin, go to "Projects" and open your job offer.

2. Click the "Trimoji" button at the top of the project. This panel summarizes everything: linked campaign, ideal profile, triggering columns, soft skills tests, and CV scores.

3. In the project's Trimoji settings, link your ideal profile ("Create from Posting" or "Link existing profile") and, if you completed step 3, your campaign. Green checkmarks confirm everything is linked.

Tip: Click "Score candidate CVs" to score candidates already in the project with one click.

Step 5

Set Up Kanban Automations

Each kanban column can trigger Trimoji actions when a candidate reaches it.

1. In the "Process" tab of your project, click the automation icon at the top of the desired column.

2. In the Trimoji block, enable the desired actions:

Score CV: When the candidate arrives, their CV is compared to the project's ideal profile. The score is displayed on their card.
Score Threshold → Next Column (optional): Choose the score type (CV or soft skills), the threshold out of 100, and the target column. When the score reaches the threshold, the card is moved there. If the score is below the threshold, nothing happens.

Send soft skills questionnaire: The questionnaire from the linked campaign is sent to the candidate upon arrival in the column, once per campaign. Requires step 3.

Good to know: a score already received before the candidate enters the column will not trigger the move.

Step 6

Utilize Results Daily

CV Score Explained

The score is displayed on the candidate's card and in the Trimoji section of their profile. Each criterion is detailed: experience, skills, keywords, education, knowledge. Use the discrepancies to prepare for the interview.

Good to know: the score is a decision-making aid. It informs your choice, it doesn't replace it.

Candidate Experience (if soft skills campaign)

The candidate receives a white-label email inviting them to complete the questionnaire. This message is designed to limit social desirability bias.

They answer the questionnaire. Their soft skills score is then sent back to Marvin, next to the CV score. Depending on your configuration, the candidate may also access their analysis.

Reports

From the candidate's profile, you can access PDF reports, available in white-label: candidate-to-job comparison, soft skills analysis, onboarding report for the manager, interview guide.
