At the end of this section, you will understand what a prompt is and how to communicate effectively with Chati.

Definition

A prompt is simply the question or instruction you send to Chati.

Every time you write a message in the interface, you are creating a prompt.

Chati analyzes your request and then generates a response based on the data available in your Trimoji environment.

Prompt = Question + Context

The more useful information your prompt contains, the more relevant Chati's response will be.

Simple example

Prompt:

Summarize this candidate for me.

Response:

Chati generates an overall profile summary.

More specific example

Prompt:

Summarize this candidate for me for a Sales Manager position, highlighting their strengths, areas for development, and their fit with the Personi.

Response:

Chati produces a much more targeted and actionable analysis.

Different types of prompts

Search for information

Example:

What is this candidate's Trimoji?

What is their matching score?

What are their main soft skills?

Summarize an analysis

Example:

Summarize this profile for me in 5 points.

What are the main takeaways from this analysis?

Compare

Example:

Compare these three candidates.

What do they have in common?

Which one seems closest to the Personi?

Analyze

Example:

What are the recruitment risks for this profile?

What work environment seems to suit them?

What management style would be most suitable?

Recommend

Example:

Which candidates should I interview?

Which profiles could complete this team?

Which employees could evolve into a management role?

A prompt can be very simple

It is not necessary to write complex instructions.

Example:

Summarize this profile.

Compare these candidates.

Analyze this team.

Chati is designed to understand natural language.

A prompt can also be very detailed

The more context you provide, the more in-depth the analysis can be.

Example:

Compare the three best candidates for this Personi. Rank them from most to least relevant and explain the differences, taking into account their soft skills, CV, and team compatibility.

Good practice

Imagine you are addressing an expert HR colleague.

Instead of looking for where to click on the platform, simply explain what you want to know.
