CV Analysis

What is this deliverable for?

The Candidate CV Analysis is the report automatically generated by Trimoji AI from an uploaded CV. It transforms a free text document — often difficult to quickly scan — into a structured, comparable, and evaluable summary.

The goal is to reduce CV reading time by extracting relevant information in a standardized way: experience, technical skills, education, languages. Each piece of information is classified and weighted to produce an actionable reading score.

This deliverable does not interpret the candidate as a person: it structures the facts from the CV so that the recruiter can quickly compare them with other candidates or with a job profile (ideal CV Personae).

What the report contains, section by section

1. Identity and contact details

The report extracts and presents the candidate's identifying information: name, geographical location, email address, gender, and age (when available in the CV), as well as detected driving licenses.

2. Languages and proficiency levels

The AI identifies the languages mentioned in the CV and assigns them a detected proficiency level (beginner, intermediate, advanced, fluent, native). This information is displayed as tags for instant reading.

3. Last significant experience

The last professional experience is isolated and detailed:

  • Job title held
  • Industry
  • Company size
  • Duration of the position (in months)
  • Recency (time elapsed since departure, or "currently employed" if applicable)

4. Associated roles and past experiences

The AI lists up to seven job titles from the candidate's career path. This section allows for a quick assessment of the coherence and diversity of the professional background.

5. Highest degree obtained

The report identifies the highest degree with: its title, year of obtention, field of study (CIP code), and type (ISCED level). This level of detail allows for standardized comparison of academic backgrounds.

6. Technical skills analysis (hard skills)

The AI extracts and classifies the technical skills detected in the CV. Each technical skill (hard skill) is displayed with a confidence score in percentage (visual bar), reflecting the robustness of the detection and the recurrence of the skill in the document.

7. Knowledge analysis (knowledges)

In addition to technical skills (hard skills), the report extracts theoretical knowledge, tools, methodologies, and areas of expertise indicated in the CV. Each is also evaluated in percentage to facilitate comparison.

How does it work?

Step 1 — CV Upload

The recruiter uploads the candidate's CV to Trimoji (PDF, image, or text format). For scanned or image documents, an OCR process extracts the text before analysis.

Step 2 — AI Extraction and Structuring

The AI module (Livi) processes the extracted text: it identifies and structures key entities (experiences, skills, education, languages, contact details) using natural language processing and named entity recognition techniques. Extracted skills are then classified and weighted.

Step 3 — Report Generation and Scoring

The structured report is generated in PDF format. If a Job Brief (ideal CV) has been created for this position, a matching score is automatically calculated between the analyzed CV and the target profile, facilitating pre-selection.

Step 4 — Utilization and Comparison

The report can be viewed within Trimoji, integrated into a candidate file, or synchronized with your ATS, depending on your integrations. The standardized structure allows for easy comparison of multiple candidates on the same criteria without needing to reread each CV in full.

Benefits for an HR team

Standardized reading of all CVs, regardless of their layout or format.

Significant time savings on the sorting phase, especially for high-volume recruitment.

Objective comparison between multiple candidates based on the same skills and criteria.

Automatic matching score when an ideal CV Job Brief is associated.

FAQ

What CV formats are accepted?

PDF, images (JPEG, PNG), and plain text. For scanned or image CVs, an OCR layer extracts the text before AI analysis.

Can the AI make mistakes in extraction?

Errors are still possible on atypical, highly graphical, or rare language CVs. The report remains a reading aid, not a replacement for the recruiter who retains the final interpretation.

Is the CV report combined with the personality profile?

Yes, in the Candidate File. This deliverable consolidates the CV analysis and the personality profile into a single document, with matching scores on both dimensions.

Is the CV stored by Trimoji?

Structured data is retained in the Trimoji database according to your organization's terms of use. Retention and access rules comply with GDPR.
